Harvey Dent, Gotham's White Knight, is dead, and with him, the hopes of those who believed he could defeat organized crime in Gotham once and for all. The Joker is loose, and while he hasn't been heard from in the last few weeks, city officials believe that it's only a matter of time before he shows his face again. Sociopaths are escaping from Arkham, Batman is a wanted man, and the candidates for the vacated Disctrict Attorney position are too busy mudslinging to get any real planning done. Many are starting to fear that without a leader to take charge, things may slip back into the chaos that existed before...

1. Read the rules.

2. Read the canons (Please, please, please read the canons. Keep in mind that just because you've noticed that we don't have a certain canon does not necessarily mean that we're accepting applicants for it.)

3. Join with whatever username you want to log in with.

4. Change your username to the name of your character. We don't care what your login name is, it can be huggles0566 or sexymama13, but we ask that your username include in PLAIN TEXT your character's name. You can play it up with x's, fancy symbols, whatever, but the actual name should be in LETTERS. No "@my" or "3ric@".

5. Write your app. Please try and fill the word requirements; these give us an idea as to whether you'll be able to roleplay at the level we're writing at on this site.

6. SPELL CHECK your app. Unless you're an amazing speller naturally, we'll know if you haven't.

7. Wait to be accepted; edit anything the admins request that you edit. Usually, we'll just ask that you add a little bit to certain fields. Unless you completely haven't read the rules and don't have a clue what the site is about, it won't usually be anything too difficult.

8. Start roleplaying!
