Harvey Dent, Gotham's White Knight, is dead, and with him, the hopes of those who believed he could defeat organized crime in Gotham once and for all. The Joker is loose, and while he hasn't been heard from in the last few weeks, city officials believe that it's only a matter of time before he shows his face again. Sociopaths are escaping from Arkham, Batman is a wanted man, and the candidates for the vacated Disctrict Attorney position are too busy mudslinging to get any real planning done. Many are starting to fear that without a leader to take charge, things may slip back into the chaos that existed before...

Maybe your a Cop, trying to keep the streets litter free, and all the street trash in jail. Arkham Patient trying to escape? Or are you just a normal person trying to survive?

Is there a chance of this board coming back? It looks like it has been inactive for about 6 months, but I figured I would ask anyway. It is the best Batman RPG I have found so far... it's too bad I didn't find it sooner.

The once bustling city of Gotham has become a dismal and
foreboding place. Batman has been away from the city for only
about two months now, but crime has already spread like a
blazing hot wildfire through the desolate streets and districts.
The most prominent mob bosses and criminals have already
taken to dividing the city up as they see fit and their wars over
turf and illegal products have already sent many innocent people
to the morgue. The police are trying their hardest to keep people
safe, but they are desperately in need of help. And yet in these
dark and seemingly hopeless streets, there are whispers of
Batman himself returning to set things right.
Perhaps others will join his cause…

Sadistic Requiem is a fairly new Proboards-based Batman RPG based off the Nolanverse.
Our members are friendly and the community is small right now. Currently, we are only accepting canons.

Everybody loves comics. Everybody has their favorite. Whether it's the adventures of Spidey or the action of Wolvie, the detective work of Batman, or the bloody action of the Watchmen.

Imagine a world where all these univi were combined into one. All your favorite heroes and villains collide with each other on a day to day basis, in battles you've only imagined.

Now, and here's the clever part, imagine that you are your favorite hero or villain. It's up to you what to do in this amazing world of such incredible beings and places. The choices are for you to make- your destiny is yours to change.

Or, maybe you are a new hero or villain introduced into this fantastic setting, ready to join the fight against crime, or plan the bank heist of the century. It is up to you.

HOME PLOT RULES CANONS

The real battle for Gotham is about to begin...

The death of Harvey Dent changed everything. Batman, once a vigilante hero who was looked upon with admiration by the population is now painted the villain, accused of the death of Gotham's most notable hero as well as several others. Only Batman and the newly appointed Commissioner Gordon know the truth, but to preserve a symbol of truth and justice they are playing a dangerous charade that has the police force hunting their greatest icon and the masked hero not only in hiding from them but still trying to fight crime and make Gotham a safer place.

But he can't do it alone...
Will you help Batman or hunt him?
Or will you oppose all forms of justice and be a villain to haunt them all?

Gotham City Chronicles is based on the Christopher Nolan series of Batman films and is set just after The Dark Knight. While the RPG deals with Batman and his war on crime, it isn't limited to this, dealing with the Police, the mob and ordinary people and their struggles, it's very much about Gotham as a city and the people who live there, men and women just trying to get by in an uncertain time.

So whether you're a die-hard Batman fan, you've seen the films or even if you've never even experienced any of that before and just want to give the RP a shot, feel free to join and play a part in the drama unfolding in Gotham City, either as a canon or completely original character of your own design.
