Harvey Dent, Gotham's White Knight, is dead, and with him, the hopes of those who believed he could defeat organized crime in Gotham once and for all. The Joker is loose, and while he hasn't been heard from in the last few weeks, city officials believe that it's only a matter of time before he shows his face again. Sociopaths are escaping from Arkham, Batman is a wanted man, and the candidates for the vacated Disctrict Attorney position are too busy mudslinging to get any real planning done. Many are starting to fear that without a leader to take charge, things may slip back into the chaos that existed before... Click here for full version of the plot!
NOMINATIONS!
We still need those nominations, and if nobody nominates anything else, Roj (or Kendall) will have to pick the spotlights, and we all know how much Roj loves herself. ;] Click to cast your nominations!
MALES NEEDED
While it's really not a huge deal now, we would like to nip it in the bud before we get completely overwhelmed by vagina. Please consider making a male character, especially if you already have a female.
IT'S PARTY TIME
Bruce Wayne's Second Thirtieth birthday party is now underway at Wayne Manor, and all are invited to attend!
UPCOMING ELECTIONS Political tension heightens as Gotham nears the date set for the District Attorney election. Candidates are shown to be almost exactly even in preliminary polls.

north gotham hospital > After Gotham General was destroyed by the Joker, most of the patients who'd been undergoing treatment there were moved across town to North Gotham Hospital, which is now incredibly crowded and staffed by overworked doctors and nurses who try their best to give everyone the care they need.
lone oak center > This is a massive shopping center in the flatter portion of downtown Gotham. It's a seven story mall with virtually every kind of store one could possibly want to shop at. It recently underwent a massive renovation courtesy of a hefty donation from Wayne Enterprises, and is one of the newer-looking buildings in Gotham.
gotham public library > In addition to housing a collection of books numbering into the thousands, the library holds old newspapers and other city records.
gotham parkway > (3 sub-boards) This is a brick-paved road not far from Wayne Tower. It's known to most of Gotham's citizens as "restaurant row" because the street is lined with dining establishments, from the upscale Enrique Bari italian diner to more affordable options like the Gotham Greasepit (known for their amazing onion rings).
city hall & courthouse > (2 sub-boards) The city hall and courthouse are adjacent to the police department. The mayor's office is housed in city hall, as is the currently vacant district attorney's, while trials and other legal matters are conducted at the courthouse.
wayne manor > (2 sub-boards) The home of the Wayne family for generations, Wayne Manor is nearing reconstruction after the fateful fire that burned it to the ground. It is currently uninhabited.
gotham city harbor > The harbor is where much of Gotham's importing and exporting of goods takes place. Shipments of commodities or boats full of people come in here, and likewise, shiploads of the same leave by the same means.
japan > Though far from Gotham City, the island nation of Japan is home to several business moguls who have attempted negotiations with Wayne Enterprises in the past, including the infamous Lau, who, it is said, returned to Japan instead of China since Batman had already cracked his stronghold in Hong Kong.
